Siemens Technology Hawaii

Production on site at Siemens Technology in Princeton NJ, Siemens Employees were interviewed and recorded in a lab where a multi-microgrid test bed simulated the power requirements for Hawaii. The footage was then edited to produce the video featured above.

In a research alliance led by Siemens, a new assistant system will be developed for the Hawaiʿi Island power grid. The transition to a system of all-renewable energy sources will be tested in the process to achieve Hawaii’s goal to be 100% renewable by 2045.
